Welcome to my Star Wars Tribute Page

For the past 40 years I have been a Star Wars fan. As a woodworker, I have made it a point to include Star Wars in my designs whenever possible. My first piece was to transform my shop vac into R2D2. He is almost 20 years old now and, while no longer a working shopvac, is still in a prominent place in my shop. Last year, I created a taun taun rocking horse for my grandson. It was a very fun piece to do and Harrison, (named for Han Solo?) loves to sit on it. After visiting the Star Wars theme park in Disneyworld and sitting in the cockpit of the Millenium Falcon, I began work on my own millenium falcon this year. The body is made out of wood with details cobbled together out of whatever I have around my shop. This is still in progress and will probably take years to add all of the details. I will add pictures periodically so you can see the progress.
